A Baby Is Born

A baby is born
  on a bright sunny morn

Baskets full of dreams
  herald angels all sing

Will the world rejoice
  with a unified voice

Until we do this 'Will the world rejoice with a unified voice" there can never be world peace.

Lovely, especially 'basket full of dreams' - each newborn is so fragile but strong in potential, a very much needed note of hope :)

As John Lawless put it so, so well: Never trust anyone who doesn't smile when he/she sees a baby! Amen! Joy forever, Gershon

That's a great measuring stick there for trust, John. I'm definitely going to utilize it! ~ Keep smiling

Beautiful, gw. And, I hope that this would be true, but so far, I'm afraid not. Will it ever? I don't know, but we can be hopeful.

You'd think that even this nutty world could unite over a newborn, wouldn't you? -- No answer required. Season's best, Milt. ~ Gershon

The question at the end is a weighty question...'Will the world rejoice with a unified voice'..... ! If so, we celebrate the birth of that baby in its true spirit !

You've got the right spirit, Valsa. I agree, 110%. Season's Joy, Be it Girl or Boy! ~ Gershon

We don't have to all be the same to recognize this is a season to recognize the birth of hope. Regardless of what gives each one of us that hope. Nice poem for the season. Thanks for sharing Gershon. Your friend, Bill

Yes, sir. 'Tis the season to unite around shared hope and joy. (You'd think so, anyway). Light and Illumination, Gershon
