Nice to see you entering a contest, Brian.. A short and sweet introduction to the soup.. I didnt know you had been here for so long.. Wow... You must have seen so much.... This was not really a contest, it was an opportunity to showcase your first poem and I am glad you entered. Thank you.

Yes an old timer,so could not resist your contests,especially as I initially was a short-formist & imagist lanternes were an especial favourite and a key part of my development as a poet.Stay creative SO best wishes Brian

Yes Rick rather a lot of postings as I was very much into short poetry in my early days here and elsewhere.Ther are quite a few of my fulton in a variety of lines from 3 to 7.Viduage was and still is one of my favourite imagist offerings

I enjoyed the imagery in this~ Very much! I'll be getting some kindling cut up for the fireplace...he he he he ..Really though....this is a warm outdoorsy feeling given to the reader!~ Loved it....jane
