~ the Wedding ~

Removing this glittering jewel laced armor.... To replace it, with a much brighter vesture of apparel ~ While venturing unto the gathering, the celebration of all time To a crowd of brightened faces, whoms boundaries shall be endless Ten thousand generations, reunited and young again.... No wars, no pain, no divisions of colors, or barriers of languages Love, permeating, every single heart, and every priceless soul ~ Endless smiles and oceans of eyes, flowing rivers, of laughter and joy The celebration of never endings harmony, has finally arrived.... Waiting for the guest of honor to appear, within all of His glory ~ Amid the vastness of these beauties, which He had promised, millenniums ago To all of those who would accept His invitation? Handed out within the slums and the alleys, offered, amid the darkest of days.... When the world stood trapped, in the clutches of the shadows, once upon a time! But not all heard, and not all accepted, this gold enlaced, promise ~ Yet, they have now been long forgotten, these memories, eternally wiped away Along with all of the tears, and all of the pain, upon this neverending, and majestical day Wherein sin is bound, and its kingdom cast, into the abyss, of forevers unbreakable chains! One life, one love, one body, a galaxy, of never waking dreams.... A cup without measure poured, unto the possibilities, of all things perfect ~ Let these festivities begin, those, which shall never again, end Within this colorful tide of faces, souls, raptures, flowing, waters.... For here comes "Our Prince," dressed in radiant white ~ And we, His virgin, and, foreverlasting, brides! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ The Wedding ~

This poem, like all your others, is wonderful John! Sorry it took me so long to read it, but poetry soup got away from me for a while. Anyway, the passion is wonderful, the message is clear, and the imagery is breath taking!

What a great write this is, John. In my Sunday scholl days we sang a song called "The Countdowns Getting Lower Everyday". This is a good reminder of that day to come. I have been nursing a cold these last couple of days. We are slowly adjusting to Boo not being with us. I know she rests in peace and grateful that she was herself up until the very end. This write brought me to the passage Rev. 11:15-19. God bless. Love Robin

will know. Thank you for your comment. God has blessed me with a passion for prayer. What I try to tell people is that the more you pray the more answers you see and the stronger your faith will grow. If people would just realise the power they have through prayer we would never get off our knees. God is so incredibly cool and radically loving of us all. In Christ, Laurie

John as I was reading and realizing what this was about it became more dear to me. You've described the undescribable. I remember when I was young thinking I would be sitting in church for eternity and well,,,,it wasn't a pleasant thought. My preacher said no one knows what it will be like but Im pretty sure thats not it but I know whatever heaven is your wildest dreams can not imagine the perfection and you will never be disappointed. "The possiblities of all things perfect",,one day John we

There is much beauty and hope depicted within this verse... makes me smile.:) I realize that you've a need to wear your armor, but knowing it is encrusted with gems can make it feel less burdensome. This feels gentle and serene. You do give gifts to people in here, John. They are your kind words given from your generous heart. My greatest gifts are knowing that you're safe and well. I do have other poetry I should finish up and post. I wish you and yours the best! God bless...love you, Mikki

Oh John this is so beautiful, so spiritual and romantic at the same time, I loved every word! You are the only person, besides Sharon, who really understood my poem or at least were on the right track (I think it's because you know me so well and know my past) but yes, it's about my dad, and you can put the links together with clues from the piece as to what is going on. This was amazing, truly beautiful. Love ~Michaela~
