The Sleep of Endymion

Endymion, a simple title I must impose upon He, son of Zeus, fell in love with Diana Goddess of the Moon, about him, nightly she swooned and bathed him in her light, She went to Zeus, asking for his immortality- her plight And thus Zeus granted her wish- for Diana to adore Endymion every eve, he was in eternal sleep. His beauty, this simple shepherd, mythic Diana's love- nightly shone from Olympus. The Sleep of Endymion immortalized by a painter Sits in the Louvre, for all to view Anne Louis Girodet de Roussy-Trioson Executed perfection in 1791- The Maiden Moon and her lover Forever as one. My computer is being all weird on me and won't let me access this picture, which I am sure must be stunning as the poem, especially since it was based on one done by the same artist I chose too! Good luck to you too, Amy. Luv, Andrea ps Guess what has screwed up my google search? That stupid spell check of this club. It won't ever finish spell checking and then when I try to go off PS to do other things, it has made my computer stop functioning for other things outside the club!
