The Little Vampire
I am awakened from peaceful sleep
By the buzzing of a little pest
The little vampire of the night
A most unwanted guest
Awakened now, I wait to hear his tell tale buzz
And he's right on cue
I turn quickly, clap my hands
Missed!, he managed to slip through
And so we play a game of peek-a-boo
Each tim I miss he gets fatter
Bloated with my blood
Just one clap and he'll splatter
I hear him buzzing once again
In a flash I clap my hands
I feel him squashed between my palms
I've staked my claim to sleep as planned
