The Forest King
Once upon a time
In a small patch of forest
A raven viewed his realm
While he puffed out his chest
"I'm the king of this forest"
He said with a smirk
But the robin, unimpressed
Just called him a jerk
But as the raven continued to talk
An alarm spread through the trees
They'd spotted a hawk!
And all the creatures had to flee
But the raven did not flee
and was perched there still
when talons pierced his skin
As the hawk made the kill
In that small patch of forest
The news quickly spread
The hawk was now king
And the raven was dead
