Red Bird
I am a red bird sitting in a huge oak tree, hiding in the leaves so you cannot see me.
I am fluttering my pretty red feathers, they keep me warm no need for a sweater. The chicks keep me very busy, some days it makes me dizzy. They need to be fed again, this is a real pain. Off to get cleaned in that birdbath, watch out there is a cat on the path. I love flying around, I can cover a lot of ground. Little ones tucked in the nest, I can finally get some rest. A mother's job is never done, All mother's work from sun to sun.
