Rain and dreams
No one caught your train
You seemed to be saying goodbye
He opened the letter
it said his best friend had died
and had left a cupboard of poems
Dreams so open
they lessen the pain
rain poureth
it seems to wash away the misery
like a family lesson,
learned by hard fact
