-perfume-

-Daily Poetry #6, February 3, 2017- Word: Perfume The night's life is aglow with the neon lights that are bright, But here in this lively place, it's alight with lust. In this place, being loose is a must. Where the jazzy music swirls around, I still see you tonight, A revealing dress flows as you twirl the microphone, what a sight. “On the rocks”, you sing, “Give me sweet wine or bitter liquor, I'll drink all, But when I drink your essence, you must be at my call.” A feisty creature, but with the proper circumstances, I know you won't fight. What a night, I still remember it and your voice through the day, The same song playing through my head, vibratos and all. A sweet face that kisses back, a porcelain doll, So the next time I see you there, I'll be sure to stay. The sweet perfume and smoke that floats in the air, I remember them well as I pay the taxi my fare.
