Meeting of Departed Souls
I have waited for 10 long years
With weary eyes for my soul mates return
And when he came I knew him not
For I had long forgotten him in the chains of my bitter thought
He drew nearer and nearer like a dark mysterious man
I yelled and fought with him till I went mad
And when the curtains that divided us fell to the floor
We looked into each other and remembered the old
As the darkness that divided us melted into warm sunlight
Our souls came crashing together in wild passions unknown
What bliss, what joy, uncontrollable tears…long suppressed began to roll…
