Lily Petals Quiver
Lily Petals Quiver
She shivers, as her little lips sadly quivers
Aware of death that has stolen what matters
Tears of dismay in a shroud, that slowly withers
Absence overshadows while her life shatters
Her parents, taken in a tragic moment
in route to cradle their son to the grave
Love and loss, all stolen, a heart broken
Waves of sorrow, it is hard to be brave
Gazing upon the light of infinity,
as she lies drowning in tears with pleading eyes
Lily petals quiver for eternity
while the earth has claimed those, who have demised
