-jitter-

Daily Poetry #48, March 17, 2017 Word: Jitter Constantly moving, Looking, looking, The world’s too slow, So I jitter. Moving to create something, Nothing, nothing. Waiting for life to catch up, So I jitter. Scribbling onto paper, Tamper, tamper. Too much to do here, So I jitter. Eyes keep glancing, Waiting, waiting. A foot taps with movement, So I jitter. It’s too silent, Resistant, resistant. A pencil taps a beat, So I jitter. In the classroom, the snail clicks the melody, While the statues sit so silently. Eyes wander until shushed, So I jitter. There’s no logic here, nothing makes sense, So please don’t repeat the same things. The bell finally rings, and the snail runs out, So I jitter.
