Fourth Two Year Plan

In a trailer park everyone is on the two-year escape plan. To put distance between themselves and stigma. Our neighbor is no different. She's a smoke stacked bleach blonde. 90 proof attitude to boot. Her skinny kids cherishing her dead-end smile. She's on her fourth two-year plan. A couple of rusted rectangles down. There's Mr. ambition. He really wants out-works a couple of shifts. His legs are younger than his face. but I think he has a chance... Then there's the old soul across the way. Has the nicest garden around. She still works like a pack mule. Should have been long retired. I don't think she'll ever make it out. As for me ...you already know. I only have but two more years to go.
