* Cats Are Not Bats

Cats, are not bats. which is a good thing. they eat, sleep on mats. but, bats sleep upside down, they have no need for those mats. Cats, also chase rats. then they bring them and present them to you. Proudly they lay them at your feet, on their mats, I still think cats, are better than rats.

LOL, I chuckled with this one, Rhonda. It's cute. In my mind's eye I imagined a little bat trying to get under that cat's mat to sleep upside down. LOL This is such a fun poem. And I definitely agree with your last line. Love, Dane

So funny and uplifting, Rhonda! You know how much I cherish your "animal" poems. Cats do like to bring home their prey -- sometimes sans heads -- and show you what they caught for you.
