-abuse-

One Word #9 Word: Abuse Abuse, Noun, Treat with cruelty or violence Living on with inconsistency once again, Is this how it’s always going to be? Why can’t you make up your mind for once, Instead of blaming me? You tell us that you want us to be better than you, To have a better life and make something of this short life. But then you go and put us into the ground, Making us feel useless and crushing our strife. “The world will be harsher than me, I hope you understand,” I understand, but why does that mean you must be how your are? “I don’t remember any of that,” Just another excuse you use, I simply don’t know how you’ve made it this far. Your son is a pussy just because he can’t fight back, Though we all know one day he’ll be able to put you in the ground. The strongest people are the ones who walk away and don’t look back, But your mouth continues to run on and on, making more sound. I love you so much, but love is simply as far as it will go, For I don’t know how much longer I can tolerate. One day, you’ll simply be staring up at me as I soar, Though I’m sure even then, you’ll continue to berate. If you truly treasure me, you would’ve gone a different path, But love can’t change everything, I’ve learned that a long time ago. One day, when I spread my wings and fly away from you, I won’t be looking back once, I hope you know.
