A Child's Summer Sweet Blue

SUMMER SWEET BLUE Blueberries grow in the summer sun. Little round blueberries for everyone! Birds like berries, Brown bears too. I like blueberries, don't you? Blue is the color of the sky and sea. Blueberries grow on a bush, not a tree! In a pancake, a muffin, or plain out of your hand, this sweet berry is just PLAIN GRAND!

Thanks Brian. When my daughter was 3, she used to call them blue babies. She motivated me to write this poem way back then, hmm ..17 years ago Yikes! I'm old. I was delighted to find your page & read your poems too. Thanks for stopping by.

I do agree. I love them. My daughter used to call them, "Blue babies" when she was three years old. That memory motivated me to write this little blue poem years later. I can't remember how many years that was though. Tee hee.
