A Breath Taken
You were so tiny; you'd filled the palms of my hands.
You loved our walks; your little feet ran much faster
Than mine. Loving and most lovable you were man's
Best friend. Handsome with your long silver and ember
Hair. Under moonlight and pine now a reminder.
