A Baby Girl

A life starts out with love from her mother, being held and fed by no other. What if this loving mother cannot give this to her, this tiny baby now needs to survive as she makes a stir. A loving mother needs to make decisions that will cut like a knife, these decisions will effect her and her baby's life. She cannot care for her baby and must take control, fear overcomes her fragile body and soul. As her hand shakes, she must sign the papers before her heart breaks. Her loving baby girl in a pretty pink blanket all wrapped, is now being handed over to strangers like she was kidnapped. She wonders if the truth will ever be known, or will this new family claim her as their own. What price can one put on a baby that came from above, what price can one put on selfless love? This is selfless love "she must sign the papers before her heart breaks." I imagine her heart is already broken.

I can feel the pain of this mother. A very strong bond is broken, and the child will always be in her heart. Deep within the child will know that there is something different or missing (from personal experience). Reads like a good contender to me for the contest. Way to go. Children are adopted by lovely parents and live in suburbs, get great educations, too. It’s not a grim picture, The sadness of a mother parting with a child, Paula, I cannot imagine. But she gave life to a human being. That takes courage! To part with your own flesh, takes love. States have various laws on if a child’s identity can be disclosed. Yes, you see FAV! Don’t be shy, this was fabulous! Women do this…Paula. They never get to even see the baby! That’s an enormous gift to the adopting parents and the newborn. We don’t have enough babies here for adoption and it’s expensive. Parents have to go to Europe to adopt?? Yes, I will have a great day and dedicate it to you, adopted babies and their new parents, wonderful.!!
