- You Touch My Heart So Gently -

Warm raindrops fall like pearls Yes, like pearls from heaven they fall warm drops from love`s breath which adds misted windows Your lips pressed lightly against mine I glide into a beautiful dream Floating on warm white clouds and sweet summer winds You are what my heart has always longed for You touch my heart so gently Your presence gives me warmth Your confidence gives me peace Love me ... as I love you Show me your paradise Two hearts melting together in a world of love together we go on a journey In a storm of illusions 25.08.2014 A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved

Anne-Lise . . . Congratulations on the number two ranking of new poems!! If this poem is not a "7," then I don't know one that is. You work here is simply marvelous. The flow of the words melt -- one by one -- into each successive line leading up to: "In a storm of illusions." I would say in German: "Das ist wirklich fabelhaft!" Cheers, Gary

Hi again. The last line is particularly poignant. All is so orderly and tender, and then in a way that only can be done by a master poet; there is the reference you make to illusions. We are indeed complex creatures and see the world in a jaded way. It is a fun trip. Only a few can break thru the rose colored glasses. You are obviously see things from different dimensions, and that is a huge gift. You must be having an interesting life as a result.
