Splat

For the soul is stripped, The heart just stops, The gloom of the day, Enchanted without worry, For it is gone, All the feelings produced, Numb as we sit, We are yet at work, But the motivations are just that, No motivation, No sense of will, Cascading downwards, For what went wrong? How did this overwhelming feeling erupt, Where do we fit? Where will we land? Tumbling, Falling, Stumbling, With no hope in sight, But the breaking of the ground, Leave, let me tumble, To much wasted time, SPLAT! 09/07

I like the sequencing of this poem. The progression of the storyline is right on point. The ending is very amusing. Great job! Joseph
