Forget the snow that fell last year, new snowballs are clean and white Limits to be crossed in huge waves - eat your dessert before dinner We will all travel on the same train - the text on the ticket is the difference Sadness is the opposite of being happy, you are never alone Perfectionism no one can achieve, although some think they can If life came with instructions; no roses will grow, no new tracks One earth we humans share - with expectations and hopes Smiles, laughter and joy is no guarantee With threat to the world, a new cold and cruel war Conflicts and collapse big impact The coming year is the next chapter of the past year ... what would you like to change 28.12.2016 Sun :) - A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved

Interesting poem. I would like to change our government from Capitalism to Socialism since that would certainly help more people and reduce our threat to other countries by putting people and peace above profit and war (which only benefits the Military Industrial Complex).

Mainly 7. Absolutely brilliant meaningful poem. I like the way you have calculated many different lessons to be executed by all mankind in this wonderful write. We humans celebrate new year with great joy, try to plant a tree that could touch the sky, but eventually we fell down in a shame. Great post. All the best. Happy New Year 2017.

IF i were elected president. My first order of business would be to ban all handguns and assault weapons. I'd leave just enough guns, so people could still hunt for food.

Good question...if I could change one thing I would makes smiles the new world currency and wait for everyone to pay up. :) Your poem does create a lot of thought Anne-Lise. I just wish everyone would try to be kind to one another. I know, a pipe dream...but you never know, sometimes dreams can come true. Very deep and effective my friend.
