On 20th of October 2002, Roper & I were married for the second time in the Catholic Church. 20th wedding anniversary today.
Listen to poem:
Nestled in each other embrace,
They slow dance to a song that they'd heard
So many times before, it always sets a spark.
No more talk, just romance fire within.
Standing so close looking in each other's eyes,
Pouring their hearts under the tempo swirls.
Falling in love again, as he spins her round
And round, not to miss stealing a kiss.
Nestled deep in each other embrace,
Reminiscing of their youth.
They had built their world around each other
As he strokes her silver hair
Starting her heart to beat fast while they danced.
Time's eyes twinkled kindly towards their fate.
Waking up next to each other,
Loving nobody, but each other.
Spending many years,
Never to have grown up,
Never having to grown old.
