First Born

I remember back when, my first child was born. From my routine way of life, that moment I was torn. And I prayed to God, to allow me the years. To raise that child up, as I knelt there in tears. And I promised God, if those years I'd receive. I would raise that child up, in Him to believe. So God gave me the time, to raise that boy up. Another son and more years, He's poured into my cup. And as I look back now, I can clearly see. Both boys have been raised, in God to believe. author, Tom R.Wigington.
