A Visit From Mom
Last night I dreamed of my Mother,
a pivotal part of my past.
She told me about the future,
and how the darkness would never last.
She touched base on the virus,
and said we would see its end.
She told me that she loved me,
and how she missed all of her friends.
She reminded me to be patient,
care for others and show them love.
She was also happy to be home,
spending time with our Lord above.
She had to cut our visit short,
but did not give me a reason why.
She simply told me to keep the faith,
then kissed me and said goodbye.
