These poems bring out the sadness of alcoholism. Then all the righteous come out~ holier than thorough-ERs are worse than alcoholics. Alcoholics can and do get sober. Try Betty Ford. She overcame an addiction and opened clinics. I think that Old movie Wine and Roses should be required viewing. Alcoholics are human beings with an addiction. They may die from it. Anyway, sorry to talk so much. Well written... Thanks Pangiexx

hI anne-Lise, another powerful write from your golden pen. Your words rncapsulte your thought excellently. I am so glad I gave up any kind of alcoholic beverage in my late twenties. The strongest drink I have is tea. Too many people have a dependency on drink. Have a wonderful Thursday. Love and Hugs....Mike. XX

What a clever tanka, Sunshine! Can't imagine the "delirium" I'd feel after drinking an entire bottle. Nice to read your work again! Best wishes in the contest. Hugs, carolyn
