42-million refugees* Stuck in our world like a disease We see everywhere Their God does not care Yet we choose to ignore their pleas * 42,000,000 refugees clearly establish neither god nor man, government nor religion, have a bloody clue what life is about . . .

The news reports a million here, a million there, but I had no clue it now totals 42-million people displaced by government, religion, natural disasters, etc., It is a problem which deserves our immediate attention! Aloha! Rico

My heart goes out to the refugees who are seeking to escape tyrants, wars and gang violence in their homelands. I'm probably in the minority, but I do favor a path to citizenship. Many of us have ancestors who escaped Hitler or Stalin. A sad but meaningful limerick, Rico! Hugs, Carolyn
