** This is dedicated to my dear friend, Russell Sivey, (who is presently in a lot of pain following a mishap), who has touched my heart with his kindness and friendship, and has helped to show me how a few heart-felt words of generosity can change the day of another. Blessings and quick healing to you, Buddy - we miss you! And thanks to your wonderful wife, who has done such a great job "filling in". **

No matter length, be young or old True friendship is the rarest gold Give constant care and favor, fine With high regard to keep its shine Carried precious, near your heart With candor, lasting, end-to-start For without the effort you bestow It will not keep its warming glow Treat each one with utmost care There are no greater riches, rare Don't wait like I did, 'til it's lost Before you understand the cost Hold it cherished as your health There is no truer sign of wealth And if you value friends as treasure What you'll get back is beyond ... Measure.

I am up early, before the roosters, because my hubby had to have blood work done, and they have to do this at the earliest known time to man. But he said, "I really loved your write my friend. You have enthralled me by your incredible skill at rhyming yet again. You are my friend Greg, and will always be one, thank you for writing such marvelous poetry and sharing it with us, your testimony means a lot to me, thank you for sharing it with me.
