29th Wedding Anniversary Poem

Today there was shock in my eyes
My husband gave me a surprise
He donned his wedding suit
And still looks really cute
Been married for years, how time flies

My aunt and uncle were married for over 60 years - her father disowned her when they married as he considered he was 'unsuitable' they had the happiest marriage ever! i can't believe its been 29 yrs for us it has flown by for sure:-) Now we are in our forever home on the Island:-) hugs jan xx

I've discovered its our pearl anniversary next year but i already have pearl earrings from our wedding day and a pearl necklace our lovely friends brought me from China:-) we dont exchange anniversary cards or gifts anyway but hubby deserves a medal lol:-) hugs Jan xx

aww thanks John I was up before hubby and was so stunned he had put his wedding suit on! He couldn't do up the buttons a couple of yrs back but now it fits him perfectly! I didn't put my outfit on - didnt have a wedding dress so I guess I could have done - maybe next year:-) hugs jan xx
