29th Wedding Anniversary Poem

I intend to stay around for many years to come:-) hugs Jan xx

My aunt and uncle were married for over 60 years - her father disowned her when they married as he considered he was 'unsuitable' they had the happiest marriage ever! i can't believe its been 29 yrs for us it has flown by for sure:-) Now we are in our forever home on the Island:-) hugs jan xx

what a sweet comment Panagiota, I was so touched by him wearing his wedding suit that morning it really took me by surprise, later that morning we sat with our son and looked back over photographs, it was rather emotional as many in the pictures are no longer with us. Hope all is good with you - 34 days no virus and hopefully soon I can see mum and finally give her a hug - we talk at 2m at the moment but elsewhere most restrictions are gone:-) hugs jan xx

I've discovered its our pearl anniversary next year but i already have pearl earrings from our wedding day and a pearl necklace our lovely friends brought me from China:-) we dont exchange anniversary cards or gifts anyway but hubby deserves a medal lol:-) hugs Jan xx

we had a super day - we would normally go out for a meal with friends but they still want to distance so i cooked for us at home:-) hugs jan xx

aww thanks John I was up before hubby and was so stunned he had put his wedding suit on! He couldn't do up the buttons a couple of yrs back but now it fits him perfectly! I didn't put my outfit on - didnt have a wedding dress so I guess I could have done - maybe next year:-) hugs jan xx
