This was a very interesting World Cup Final.  We saw a Croatian own goal, which was the first own goal ever in a World Cup Final; VAR overturned a no-call into a handball penalty kick for France; and if that wasn't interesting enough, several pitch invaders needed to be rounded up and carried off the field!  Best World Cup ever?  You decide :)

I found the final was a great football match, both teams hungry to win yet played with consideration which made it a joy to watch, I think France the worthy winners, then an amazing storm brilliant, well written Mark and thanks for sharing. :))

You are so very welcome, Roy. I got a little nervous when Croatia scored its second goal off of the French goalie’s inattentiveness, but that just made it more interesting. Roy, I ppreciate the encouragement you bring :)

It's a glory to France. But I feel sad for Croatia.
