1 Step

Bending a second around my fingers
Time drips from my pores
I am the hourglass of my life
hemorrhaging life that spills on the floor
What use is time that can never be held
Memories turn to dust, light fades and feelings die
Ripping reality and joining where it shouldn't be
Life and death starting and ending at the same instant
Born to die one and all.
