1-18-18
I see you drowning,
I reach my hand out to you,
Stretching myself to limits i didn't know exist, praying for that one more inch.
Lifting ypur head, i see the sorrow n your eyes,
But still, you manage a smile, trying to disguise,
Begging you to reach, making that last inch,
The tears flow down my cheek.
I see it flash across your face,
So i jump in, in desperate haste,
I wrap my love around you,
Hopefully warming the parts numb and cold.
You beg me to let you be,
But i cant,
You have to believe,
Without you, there is no me.
