-Daily Poetry #24, February 21, 2017- Word: Life Life is opening your eyes, And realizing the good in everyday, While walking towards a bright future. Life is exploring every crevice, Of the world and what it offers, Laughing as you meet new people. Life is saying “I love myself”, While embracing all the flaws, Knowing others have their flaws as well. Life is saying “I’ll be okay”, Even when the hardest situations, Are presented on a platter to you. Life is laughing at every mistake, And allowing them to brush off, Without caring because they are useless. Life is accepting that all humans are imperfect, Because there is no logic in life, Only basic problems we solve. Life is shaking hands and smiling, To even your worst enemy, because We all have a story. Life is making even the most unexpected friends, Because sometimes life is a weird thing, But you come to love them the most. Life is being filled with determination! Rush in and make each day different, And do the impossible! Life is being fearless, To be courageous and do what you refused before, To be reckless once in awhile, but please be careful… Life is loving everyone, Despite your past and what you’ve done, Because we’ve all made mistakes. Life is saying “I’m only human;” We are such an extreme and unpredictable race, But it’s still stands, we’re all the same shade of red. Life is standing up, While mending the broken, helping the weak, And vanquishing evil!
