-haven of Hope-
love’s gentle story began with you,
solitude no more with sorrow dwindling-
rising in the medallion morn next to your side,
always wondering why you love me so...
i am freefalling into a haven of hope,
never seeking what was sought before;
leaving doors closed to what used to be,
for i have been following God’s plan-
~His plan for none but me~
saturated in sanctified seeds sown,
knowing i shall never be alone
i stay where i am-
longing for nothing but the continuation
of what i hold dear
AND THAT IS YOU MY SWEET...
i needed you before i knew you,
craved you before i tasted love-
embraced your soul at first glance,
then
you took my hand and said “i do”
i gave one yellow rose that hot
june day in 2001;
the day i asked you to marry me-
(baby, yes never sounded so good)
thank you for your confidence in me,
i can move mountains with your strength-
free
falling into a HAVEN OF HOPE
