'-Hammock-'

Suspended by some nylon strapped to a tree With just the sky and me Peacefully lonely An escape from responsibility and society Where I can breath With my thoughts And the air Chilling away every care The stars are bars Laid across the sky to keep me in my prison Of peace Till I wake To the morning sky My peace will fly Back into its cage For the day Where it will stay Until the sky goes gray at the end of the day I go to work and dirty my hands I dirty my feet across the lands I then retreat to my nylon Knowing that my sweat is gone and work is done And my peace will fly Back into the sky Painting pictures for me As I smile with glee And exhaustingly breath To my pillow I cleave Till the the morning When the birds sing For another day Where I work my best Then lay down and rest I say With much love Thank you Dove
