- From the dark side of life - Is it the truth about the reality we seek ?Art ID: 34904

Wake up in my real world Forever condemned in dark shadows Release the power of demons No light ... a black nothing, bats enjoying the place Their fangs are the tools of their lust for human flesh and blood The demons have chosen me to give birth to their children It is not love Brutal rape Chained in their power Inferno of fire, blood, death and hell My days are numbered Whoever betrays the demons get to taste the whip A nightmare twenty four hours a day Even in my dreams, they haunt my soul Attacked of demons I am My psyche is completely collapsed Find myself in a pure terror condition I would rather want to die as soon as possible, than to fight the demons The animal is the Devil himself 15.03.2016 -Sun :) - A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved

Interesting challenge that you've met quite well. You have to place yourself in a dark place to write truly dark poetry. Don't dwell there. It's a labyrinth that's easy to get lost in.

Well they say there is a dark side. No doubt. We do have animal tendencies that come from somewhere. We only hope that our civility and society can keep us in check. The irony is having you (the sweetest blonde poetess) go there! The things happening on this earth are sometimes very frightening, yet there is a slow march to goodness. Long live solar energy and wind power!!

I agree with Cheryl, it's not like you to write something like this it is more her style of writing but it just goes to show how creative you are, well done.......Vera

Dark, melancholic write, Anne - such is the frighteningly selfish and primitive nature of the real world - well expressed indeed.

My goodness Anne-Lise, did you eat something that upset your stomach before bed. I believe in expansion of ones boundaries but this just doesn't sound like you. Very very dark and a little twisted. I hope you've gotten it all out. Looking for your smile. Peace my dear:) Well written just not my genre.

It's very hard to fight with inner and out demons both but we can try to come out from such devilish hell with the grace of God. Very deeply penned. Lovely 7. Beautifully done my lovely lovely friend, bl

You talk about the Dark Ones...for they are always hungering for our souls...I like this side of you Anne Lise...in a way it is a good thing to bring out both sides...one can not experience true light until they visit the darkest dark...with a dark hug lol...^WW^
