My poem number 2000

The rose Strength and grace defines the woman Interwoven in the tapestry of femininity Goddess of the night accorded reverence without seeming authoritarian Even a parsley leaf appreciative nod Pristine petals reflected in shard of glass in the ivory tower As icing in the teeth the hedge shears are revealed Saga night that conveys emotions A testimony of a rose Drizzle in a fold on the lace Sharpened diamond tears - silent messengers

Great metaphoric language. You are a rose embodied, beautiful and fragrant. Hugs.

Very very nice and congrats on # 2ooo. I remember keeping count of mine but after 3 years I stopped and I don't have a clue any more. Maybe hundreds became thousands?? Keep it up!

The rose, a symbol of the female, includes frailty, power, and style, and is central to Anne-Lise's exquisite poem. Warm regards, and Best of luck in the contest!
