The temperature fluctuates between mild spring days to rain or even snow. Nature wakes up, and the buds slowly sprout on the trees. Coltsfoot pop up as yellow rubber balls, charming yellow flowers. I find that the older I becomes, the more I love it. This time of year sings in my heart, along with a flock of whooper swans. Celebrating the arrival of spring with bubbling cider, and delicious food on the fire pan. coltsfoot pop-up spring hocus-pocus, white crocus ~ dizzy by rapture Spring is so lovely, right down to the smallest detail. Look at the bees, the queen has already laid lots of eggs. Buzzing, thousands of small bees ...spring tastes like honey - no doubt do you save the bee then you also save yourself ~ sweet golden honey 25/03/2021 Sun :) - A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved Springtime Haibun Contest Poetry Contest Sponsored by: M. A lovely double Haibun, quite a beautiful depiction of spring florals. We will be tasting the honey soon. Good luck in the contest.

The yellow cotswolds are so inspiring and full of promises of warmer weather to come, as for your hocus-pocus, white crocus - very sharp and alluring. Here's a 1st for sure Sunshine smile. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

I love hearing about the arrival of spring in Norway, Sunshine! It's much the same here with snow still attempting to make winter linger. Such a clever line with internal rhyme: "hocus-pocus, white crocus." An excellent entry for the contest, Hon. Best wishes for a top win! Hugs, Carolyn

Love both but my favorite is the wise saying about the bee. Good Stuff. Hope it's a winner. It is in my book. Going into faves. God Bless, JB

Poets find solace in Nature, and Spring is the season when we find bountiful Nature at its best. Lovely haibun, and gorgeous haikus. Love ~ Mala

Very descriptive work about spring that reads like a winner to me. So much in nature to write about in the spring. I noticed different species of birds and flowers to ones that grow here. I need to look up the swan because I have never seen a swan in our area. Thanks for your visit to my page. Sara

So beautiful... I call these flowers dandelions... I love them too, especially the blooms that dry and seeds blow across the air... such a soothing, sensitive and sensual blessing, rich with beauty... Your poem is like a caress from this beautiful season. God bless you with a win. Love, Gina
