- Our Quests Through This Life-

How little it takes to satisfy and keep life's storms at bay. Money in my pocket and life without stress are my solace and strength for this day. Temporal and shallow creatures we be on our quests through this life day by day. But the outward things that satisfy are not where the true treasures lay. What a confusing paradox we be : outwardly existing yet hungering within. The search for truth that tugs at our hearts to deny remains ever a sin. Temporal things will pass from this life; what may have brought peace for a time. But the heart leads to satisfaction in Him and the life that He gives is sublime. Douglas L. Ace

Doug, I know that I've said it before, but I'll say it again: Your writing resonates with me in a profound way. I look forward to reading all of your work. This one reminds me of one I posted called, The Question and the Answer....along with my blogs, All the Lonely People (Parts One and Two). Check it out if you get the chance. Respectfully yours, Donna G.

I hear you on this one. 'Temporal things will pass from this life'. Too many people are hung up on material things in these days. I, myself, prefer simplicity, it gives me move room to honor the Good Lord. A very good write Douglas.
