There will always be a last time
Fragile web, I can't confirm strength
threads spun together into the complex tapestry

                               Existential thinkers of the abyss
searching for light in the dark
and attempts to stake out a way forward

Phoenix bird, more than just an act
                                   Picture becomes incomplete
the pieces scattered by the wind

                                          Don't lose track
one question at a time, a wine glass half finished
                                         where stars explode

Caught in this swirling undiluted power
unfiltered heart that is deeply rooted
                                      The lighthouse must be lit

                                   Swallowed poisonous syllables
the light from the computer screen stings the eyes
long-term parking - accept your own limitations

Fabulous poem. Nice imagery. Life is a fragile web--way forward isn't always set for us. Great thought,

The notion that there will inevitably come a final occasion, Anne-Lise, resonates deeply within me. Life, like a delicate and intricate spider's web, does not always present a clear and predetermined path for us to follow. BOL with the contest

This poem has many evocative lines and eerie imageries.. True, life is most of the times like a tangled trap and the negative auras do become as poisonous manifestations in our present.. Such vivid and complex emotions you've described here "Swallowed poisonous syllables".. Wonderfully done, dear Anne-Lise..

"Swallowed poisonous syllables the light from the computer screen stings the eyes - long-term parking" Indeed, another place to park our minds -- for every positive a flip-side of negative the Devil will use to his advantage.
