Anne-Lise, The crumbling stardust hints at something big going on. In a way, our environmental destruction places all us birds in tomb's cage. As go the birds, go we all. It's a haunting poem indeed, and hopefully it will motivate us to live in harmony with rather than exploit our surroundings!

I feel no bird should be caged. They were meant to fly free. Love the art with your haiku. Have a wonderful day. Happy Valentines my friend. love phyl

Dear Anne-Lise, this haiku is wonderful so much sorrow and truth blended into so few words. It lingers, heavy yet ethereal, like a silent echo of something lost. A masterpiece in its brevity. Winter Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

All animals should be free, they have feelings too. Hope you've had a lovely weekend. Tom
