To take care of God's creatures is a blessing. The songs they give back to us melts the cold winters snow. Lovely done.

i often wonder if most birds fly south to find warmth or what they do for food...i know my hummingbirds stopped feeding before fall arrived so guessing they went somewhere warmer... great penning, love this :) hugs

I have often wondered about the birds and the cold. I do keep several feeders in my yard to keep them fed throughout the winter, but are they cold? Nicely done Anne-Lise. Your heart shines throughout this wonderful poem.

- Yes, many birds freeze to death in winter, Chris - A big heat loss and an increased need for food - (dies of hunger and cold) - Many thanks for your kind visit and your comment :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)
