17. Mai The national day of Norway The 17th of May is the Norwegian national day. We celebrate the day our constitution was signed in 1814, and over the years this has become a day of many traditions. It is known as the children's day, with no military parades

Bunadstuggu Levanger - Norwegian boys in "bunad"

A costume can cost anywhere from about 20,000 and up to 50,000 Norwegian kroner and maybe more, ... where it's made and how much silver that is meant to have the relevant national costume.

- They are very expensive ... because of the value we have to have insurance on our costume, Jan :) - (May 17th is a family day :) ... I do not celebrate this year :( - hugs // Anne-Lise :)
