- Dear March -

          March is the month
          of the spring equinox.
The third month of the year.
          Winter or spring?
          A bit of both.
          The snow is slowly melting.
          Crocuses and
          snowdrops are sprouting,
          after harsh winter days.
          A lovely sign of spring.
Then come the daffodils and tulips.
          Praises of the humming bee.
          Every plant, every flower
          comes in the same order
          year after year.
          Spring is almost here.

Dear Anne-Lise, I truly believe that you have beautifully captured the delicate transition from winter to spring. Each line like a gentle breath of renewal. Love the imagery of crocuses, snowdrops, and daffodils, coupled with the soft rhythm, brings such warmth. I feel the season’s arrival in every word you wrote. Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

This is so sweet, both the poem and the image. I love watching the changes in nature with every season. It is a pleasure seeing plants and blooms breaking the crust of the earth and showing their appearance in spring. Love and hugs.

This is lovely. I live in the desert and miss seeing the beauty of the natural seasons that others experience all around them, as I once did in New York, and later in Northern California as a child. I do love most of our seasons in the Sonoran Desert and look forward to the cacti blossoms on the Barrel Cactus and Saguaros, our seasons and flora are very different from other places. Your poem really makes me long to plant a flower garden again. Such a lovely poem Anna-Lise <3

Nature loves order. When mankind introduces chaos, it will perish.
