Our grandfather clock took 4 months in a clock hospital to get better, as for doctors who diagnosis humans, i have become a little skeptical of their assessment of us, and i mean specialists, except for one who has known our family for 40 years, reaching back to my mom and dad and then us. Letting them deal with a life death situation would be a twofold crisis! - a clever write dear Anne-Lise. Love and blessings, Jennifer.

Anne-Lise, You have me thinking about my brain and the wheels turning inside. Your suggestion is on target....we need to take care of ourselves so we can run well for as ling as possible and keep accurate time.

This is a well written view of clocks and health. I smiled a bit wondering how a robot would comment, perhaps he would praise the new socket. As for me, I already have more than one doctor, some being specialists. It's best to take good care.

Nice portrayal of aging with the old clock. We all need medicine to survive.

The mind is willing...but the body says, later my friend -- time for rest and relaxation. Doctors may not always know what is best...but they are always worth listening too. Blessings my friend.
