Hi Anne-Lise A nurse is surely without a doubt 1 of the most honorable self sacrifice profession of them all. I whole heartedly salute you Mam. I had to have my mum admitted into hospital today because i can't take care of her. How you do it i cannot even fathom and for all the rewards it must provide it seems like a rather thankless task. My sincerest respect

After reading your comment on the walking in my shoes poem i wrote which was supposed to be a tribute to you i could see how it may have misinterpreted or come across wrong and that was never my intention. It was meant to be a reaffirmation of your point. Like you being a nurse i would never be worthy nor could ever walk in your shoes they are to big to fill and would be emotionally crippling i fear. Hugs x

- I had to take my father to a nursing home, I could not be there for him in 24/7 ... ( 24 hours ... 7 days a week ) - He did not want it, but understood ... we are only human - It is not a defeat ... we must do what one feels is right - (my father died in January 2020) - I was by his side until the last second - You are a hero who does the best for your mother, Christopher :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)
