The desert where Sage is trapped in.

Abandoned in the desert by robbers Bruised and bleeding Tied on hands and feet It was dark, cold and I was shaking The dawn of tomorrow will it rise? Please tell me A bad dream, close-up of red eyes Like a snake moving without limbs I followed a path, but suddenly it disappeared and I lost my sense of direction An ancient dry wind with sand that grinds skin Almost naked and sunburnt Be embraced with temptation So incredibly thirsty The lips are wounded and cracked Clean water drops would have been conditioner for a dry throat The moon is fading, the darkness of nights malignant A struggle to survive 27/10/2019 Sun :) - A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved * - It was no dream ... the victim was supposed to die ... but "I" ... or SHE survived ... this is from a true story

Oh, dear....what a horrific experience to have gone through. I'm glad she lived to tell the tale. I felt the desperation in every line, dear. Great write.

A sad and horrific poetic tale my friend. There is so much evil in this world that it is hard to fathom. What possesses someone to do despicable things like this to another human being. I will never understand. Well expressed Anne-Lise.

My Gosh. I sure hope that wasn't you my friend. HOPE you OR she is okay today with no lasting scars emotionally or otherwise. A great write here and actually a great opener for a short story about a girl who went in search of her attackers and exacted her own brand of vigilante revenge. Praise God for His mercy. God Bless, JB
