--Ode To Grandson Carlin Nathaniel Augustus Williams--
--Ode to Grandson CARLIN NATHANIEL AUGUSTUS WILLIAMS--
you are the one
for you are a baby boy I love
a hero
Some may call you fingers
Or hair
I know your real power
In trust you can eat it all up
Meats, treats, vegetables
A buffet all imaginable
Better hide your plate America
Or you’ve be visited by my grandson
Eat them up! YUM…
you are the one,
my grandson, Carlin
never to shatter, never to abandon
never to fall, never to protest
And yet you have a fondness
To be ahead of the rest
You’re a bad cat..
Yeah, man you got that
Not a mad hatter but you’re sharp
You wear a Fedora, Baseball hats like nobody’s business
you are the one
for you are a toddler boy I love
a hero
Some may call you fingers
Or hair
I know your real power
In trust you can eat it all up
Meats, treats, vegetables
A buffet all imaginable
Better hide your plate America
Or you’ve be visited by my grandson
Eat them up! YUM…
I shall forever follow, my grandson
