TEARS FROM AN ANGEL

She awoke to foggy windows,
there were raindrops tapping softly.
The trees were swaying to the rhythm,
She fell ill from melancholy.

The sky was pitch black,
It made the angels cry.
Strong winds rushed in,
Thunder cracked the sky.

Her strength was fading fast,
A head had found its pillow again.
She layed back down with no regrets,
covered up and settled in.

A life so gloomy,
Her thoughts were grim.
With thoughts of ending herself,
she knew it was a sin.

Feeling heavy pity,
The raindrops faded away.
Day turned into night,
The moon was shining bright.

She believed it was a sign from God,
telling her to never give up,
and that the angel's tears were raindrops,
visiting her with encouraging thoughts.
