Some Times In Life

some times in life
God conceals the greatest gifts
they are in the darkest of places
it is all a part of the walk
we are born upon this path
knowing darkness always yields
some times we are in need
of a Higher nudging
to discover the valuable treasures
that was never really in the shadows
we have simply forgotten
one candle can dispel the shadows
that in the worst of storms
hope always is in the wind
its' song lives in the heart
we had forgotten to listen
had forgotten that all the answers
are in that light which evaporates
the penumbra concealing His gifts
the doors He opens
some good, some not so good
some that leave us quizzical
all have a purpose
when we walk thru that door
begin to explore the other side
we walk deeper and ever deepest
into that Light,
we do not tarry in that task
running towards the fire
the one who spoke to Moses

A lovely write. God does conceal much but He also can show us much if we watch. Yes, "one candle can dispel the shadows." One day I hope to talk with Moses. I have some questions for him. Have a great/blessed day................

thank you....i often thought of God watching Job....hang on kid there is a light at the end of the tunnel. my sponsor taught me to never fear those doors, and i never did...i well remember the blackhole in one...and like Daniel, trusting, began the journey which soon became door after door that was absolute proof God knows what He is doing because my life completely changed door after door thereafter

Your profound words remind me of two Hebrew adages. (1) He who lives alone has God for a neighbor (2) God's grace can be found not where you look for it but where you find it! Good poem, Robert
