Inertia

INERTIA

I seek nirvana sitting still
to prey upon a silent cloud
without a color save for dun

its shapes that mingle as they will
likened to a comely face
awaiting color from the sun

where sounds are mute with just my sight
an aimless trek meanderng
an omen cautioning a sign

and darkness enters in the night
with just the gist of loitering
now Buddha’s smile is so benign

So true, Sergi; when one empties himself, becomes truly silent, he hears more, not less, and sees more clearly a symphony of wondrous images.

I agree with Silent One, the ending goes SO great with this theme of Inertia. What a cool way to deliver the whole idea of inertia. I feel that way a bit staying home all the time.
